Treasures from the Coast

Please come visit my creative sea-inspired jewelry. Most of the sea treasure shells come from the Treasure Coast of Florida, while some come from Hope Town, in the Abacos, Bahamas. They were all hand picked by me or my fiance Chad Redick. Although I have had three back fusions,  I joyfully walk the white sandy beaches looking for the perfect shell to incorporate into a CordonKate creation. The word "cordon" in the French language means ribbon. Ribbon is usually used in the making of each necklace. You can interchange for ribbon, a pair of leather and suede cords, or various thickness twisted rope-like cord, with the color of your choice that will suit your outfit. Most of the necklaces have a long enough ribbon, suede, leather or rope to wear as a belt, weave into your hair, hang from a pocketbook - well use your imagination - the sky's (in our case, the "sea's") the limit!
All CordonKate creations will contain a pearl (faux) or crystal or stone of various colors, nestled somewhere on the shell, starfish or other sea items. Have fun!
The uniqueness of each piece will hopefully cause you to share this website (www.cordonkate.com) with your family and friends. These creations make unusual gifts for young and old alike.
Also please visit my books' website: http://www.pethumorbooks.com/ where you may also view my two minute Youtube video that features the book, "The Family Portrait Album of Dr. Sam and Bingo".  At the end of the video,my puppy, Dr. Sam, plays her little Steinwayesque piano - oh, what a dog!!
